Two people lost their lives, and 16 others were injured when a double-decker bus collided with a parked truck in Toli village, Hathras district, Uttar Pradesh, on Thursday. The incident occurred under the Sikandara Rao police station limits. District Magistrate Ashish Kumar confirmed, "Two people have died in this accident and about 16 people are injured." The bus, traveling from Miyanganj to Chandigarh, struck the truck due to driver negligence, leading to the tragic outcome.
Following the crash, Hathras Superintendent of Police Nipun Aggarwal and other officials promptly arrived at the scene to conduct a rescue operation. The injured passengers were swiftly taken to the hospital for treatment.
